The stalls were filled to capacity as contestants came from all directions. There were a total of 1793 teams competing over the 3 day event. The latest night was Saturday which finished up by 9 pm. On Friday evening the exciting competition finished by 6pm making time to host a huge barbecue for the entire membership with a portion of the proceeds going to the youth class.
All classes received the official Quarter Horse Congress medallions through 10th place which are provided by the Congress each year. Being a part of the Congress and the ability to receive the official Congress jackets is a big draw for all contestants.

All points races were very close and Steve had a huge late rally to win with 80 points beating out 2nd place by just 1/2 point.
Overall the event paid out $93,784 plus over $10,000 in prizes making it a $100,000 cash and prize give away!!
