Expo 2050

In July 2019, Ohio Governor DeWine formed the Expo 2050 Task Force to recommend a long-term vision for the Ohio Expo Center. After much research and planning, this project pivoted to architecture, design, and construction in 2023. The first phase of the renovations began in the fall of 2023, shortly after the end of the Congress. These renovations will include a new entry gate, new and renovated buildings, an improved navigational experience, and improvements to unseen underground infrastructure.

Multi-Purpose Agriculture Building

This innovative building is planned to sit on the site of the previous Buckeye Barn. With more than 100,000 square feet of space, this temperature-controlled space will be ideal as a stalling barn during the Quarter Horse Congress. This building is slated for completion in 2026.

Ohio Showcase

The Ohio Showcase building will sit where the previous Congress Corral sat. Located near the new Town Square space, this two-story building will feature a dining and event space with outdoor patio or balcony seating options. This building is slated for completion in 2026.
