Southern Belle Breeder’s Results from A Sudden Impulse NSBA & Futurity Show

COLUMBUS, OH – The first-annual Sudden Impulse Futurity held at the stunning WEC facility in Ocala, Florida, is currently underway. Several Southern Belle Breeders Futurity classes were a late addition to the show. The classes were open to offspring of stallions that have sold in the program. SBB Classes that were held at the show included:

· Breeder’s Green Western Pleasure
· Breeder’s Amateur Western Pleasure
· Breeder’s Green Hunter Under Saddle
· Breeder’s Amateur Hunter Under Saddle
· Breeder’s Green Junior Trail
· Breeder’s Six and Over Non Pro Trail
· Breeder’s Green Western Riding

Offspring of two legendary sires, RL Best Of Sudden and Allocate Your Assets, dominated the SBB Futurity classes. The progeny of Allocate Your Assets owned by GW and Katherine Tobin won the Amateur and Green Hunter Under Saddle along with the sire award for these classes. Alyse Roberts and Armageddon won the Green Hunter Under Saddle, while Samantha Gardner and Al Be Your Prince took home the Amateur Hunter Under Saddle.

RL Best Of Sudden’s offspring won the Green Western Pleasure and Green Junior Trail in the western classes.

Jay Starnes won the Green Western Pleasure class on My Secret Love, which Cheyenne Augsburger owns. RL Best Of Sudden also sired second place - My Best Version ridden by Dawn Baker.

The Green Junior Trail winner was Carmen Mayabb, and Drinks R On Me. Masterson Farms took home the sire award for both classes.

SBB Sires The Best Martini, No Doubt Im Lazy, and Machine Made also had offspring win classes during the show. Nancy Wilkerson won the Amateur Western Pleasure on Forever Cool by Machine Made, making the sire award winner Candice Hall and Corey Seebach.

The Green Western Riding was won by Martin Doustou and Extra Dirty Martini, owned by Jennifer Lynn Moreau. The talented mare is by The Best Martini, who also won the sire award for Rhonda Malone.

 

Wrapping up the classes was Rachel Trebesh and No Doubt I Shine; they won the 6 & Over Non Pro Trail with No Doubt Im Lazy with Linda Berris taking home the sire award.

The Sudden Impulse Futurity show continues through May 1st with over $360,000 in added prize money. The Southern Belle Breeders’ classes are also held during the Quarter Horse Congress, AQHA World Show, and APHA World Show.
